Despite making a costly mistake in qualifying, relegating Victor to the back of the grid in 21st place, the young driver showed remarkable determination on the track. Thanks to an impressive performance, he gained 14 places and finished 7th in the sprint race, overtaking his rivals one after one. Despite starting at the back of the pack for Sunday’s race also, Victor Martins was not held back in his quest for points. He gained 13 places to finish in 8th position.
Over the weekend as a whole, the French ART Grand Prix driver accumulated 4 points in the overall standings, at a rate of 2 points per race. This remarkable comeback testifies to Victor’s resilience and undeniable talent, and augurs well for his future on the racetrack.
